Rhinoplasty & Facial Aesthetic Surgery is a review of rhinoplasty philosophy, principles, and technique. It is a 499-page volume with over 1000 illustrations and photographs. The text is authored by M. Bashar Bizrah, MD, FRCS, of the Middle East (Jeddah) and is based upon his experience of over 3000 rhinoplasty procedures. It is a straightforward and well-presented manual of one of the most challenging procedures in facial plastic surgery.

The material is organized into 18 chapters. The first chapter is an interesting, albeit brief, overview of the history of facial plastic surgery. The next 15 chapters are dedicated to rhinoplasty, and include informative sections on patient assessment, fundamental rhinoplasty techniques, and common rhinoplasty problems and scenarios such as the crooked nose. There are 2 chapters that cover a number of related surgical procedures. These chapters provide an overview of topics such as rhytidectomy, laser resurfacing, and chin augmentation.
