Fourteen years after the publication of his opus magna Secondary Rhinoplasty: The Difficult Nose, Rodolphe Meyer has succeeded in producing an even more sophisticated textbook on the difficult surgical subject of revision rhinoplasty. The improvement in the rubrication in this new book of the different surgical problems encountered in secondary rhinoplasty and the many clinical pictures and schematic drawings that accompany these cases contribute greatly to the understanding. To the beginning facial surgeon, the author's 40+ years of experience with rhinoplasty will prove extremely helpful, especially in the prevention of more-or-less common mistakes. However, for the experienced facial surgeon, this book may be of even greater value because virtually every surgical problem concerning the nose is described and instructively documented as well as demonstrated by long-term follow-up results.
