The Columbia Manual of Dermatologic Cosmetic Surgery is a comprehensive but concisely written overview of the field of dermatologic cosmetic surgery. Numerous tables summarize important learning points, and well over 300 illustrations are found throughout the book. The text is authored by 2 experienced physicians with contributions made by several of their current and former fellows.
The material is organized into 20 chapters whose topics span the full spectrum of the field, from the cosmetic use of botulinum toxin to hair restoration surgery, and several procedures are outlined in detail. Another important and useful aspect of the book's design is the inclusion of procedure-specific patient information and perioperative instruction sheets.
