1–5 8th International Symposium of Facial Plastic Surgery, New York, NY. Co-chairs J. Regan Thomas, MD, and Michael J. Sullivan, MD, have put together a sensational program and have negotiated a $228 room rate with the grand Marriott Marquis Hotel, located in the heart of the theatre district in downtown Manhattan. This meeting boasts many distinguished invited speakers from around the world who will share their philosophies and techniques on a variety of aesthetic and reconstructive issues. Join "Face-off With the Faculty" each morning to hear experts spar over controversial facial plastic surgery topics. Internationally renowned ABC News health correspondent Nancy Snyderman will host an instructional course on "Tips and Tactics for Dealing with the Media." Karen Zupko will present a full-day seminar on practice building. M. Eugene Tardy, Jr, MD, and Robert L. Simons, MD, will be honored for their dedicated service and teaching. The annual New York City fall fund-raiser "Paint the Town" will be held in conjunction with the international symposium to allow symposium attendees to attend and support the academy's grandest party.
