The Foundation for Facial Plastic Surgery was created by George Brennan, MD, and is located in Newport Beach, Calif; it has been in existence for 21 years. The foundation is a nonprofit organization devoted to education and research in facial plastic surgery, and it also makes charitable contributions. This year's donations have been made to "Face to Face" from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Alexandria, Va and Humanity United in Giving, Richardson, Tex, an organization providing emotional and medical support for Romanian orphans.
The Foundation for Facial Plastic Surgery hosted its 13th annual seminar titled "Latest Advances in Cosmetic Surgery of the Face" in Newport Beach, Calif, from August 11 to August 15, 1999.
