This color atlas provides a concise overview of the many skin conditions encountered by the practicing cosmetic surgeon. Organized into 12 sections, the book has a total of 59 chapters that are individually dedicated to a particular subject matter and/or disease process. Each chapter is structured in an outline format, which imparts a concise overview of each condition. This includes epidemiologic information, physical examination findings, differential diagnosis, testing, and treatment options and pitfalls.

The atlas is a richly illustrated text with over 600 color photographs and illustrations. It includes photographs of the disease process before and after treatment, as well as complications. Medical and surgical therapeutic interventions are outlined, including medication dosage, laser settings, and expected treatment outcomes with each modality. The discussion of laser therapy is thorough, up to date, and provides evidence-based justification.

Overall, this atlas provides a well-organized overview of cosmetic dermatology. . . . [Full Text of this Article]
