This is a 296-page multiauthored textbook accompanied by a CD-ROM. All authors are internationally known European rhinoplastic surgeons. This is an expanded second edition of a successful text-atlas, consisting of 23 chapters divided into 3 parts. Part I consists of 5 chapters that provide basic knowledge necessary for rhinoplastic surgeons, such as anatomy, aesthetics of the nose, and preoperative and postoperative management. Part II includes 9 chapters that discuss different basic operative techniques. This section is arranged more like an atlas than an expanded textbook and discusses septoplasty, nasal valve surgery, basic surgical approaches and techniques, nasal tip surgery, and surgery of the osseocartilaginous vault. The operative techniques include open as well as endonasal rhinoplasty approaches. Part III consists of 9 chapters that are devoted to more advanced techniques, including management of cleft-lip nasal deformities, augmentation rhinoplasty, correction of large septal perforations, and rhinoplasty in children.
